Valentine Rose

          Rose with flash

Give a rose for Valentine’s Day.

I’m not usually a fan of pink but this is just to die for. I was in love with the colour on its own and then thought “Why not turn it into a Valentine manicure?” So here it is, my A England Valentine Rose. The base colour is “Rose Bower” which is just amazing, I can’t stop staring at it. For the rose I’ve used strokes of “Briar Rose“, “Iseult” and “Perceval“, the stem and leaves are “Saint George” and it’s all topped off with “The Shield” as the top coat for extra shine.

As always, click the pictures for a larger view.

Without flash. “Rose Bower” is just a gorgeous base colour, so shimmery and deep. Also check out the shine I’m getting from the top coat!

Close up Rose

Slightly blurry close up of the rose. I wasn’t very impressed when I first did it but now I think it’s actually come out really well. I love how sparkly the Rose Bower, Briar Rose and Saint George parts are too.

Close up Rose with Flash

Close up of the rose but with flash on. I love how Iseult has picked up the flash and turned almost white in this shot, plus all the sparkles really come out in the other polishes.
