Nude blobbicure

Nude blobbicure

Let's try this again. WordPress was not behaving nicely last night and refused to let me post anything. I'm currently wearing this lovely little manicure that is halfway between a dotticure and a blobbicure. Not intentionally but because I am so used to applying thin coats of polish that I didn't do a thick enough … Continue reading Nude blobbicure

Wintery sunrise nails

Winter Sunrise nails

I feel I've been doing too many gradients recently but they're so easy to do and I love the way they look. This one was inspired by a sunrise one morning as I was walking in to work. I loved the way the sun was just popping up over the horizon and the gold on … Continue reading Winter Sunrise nails

I think the gold polish may be A England's "Princess Sabra". No clue on the other polishes! My plan was to make a fiery looking gradient and I was quite pleased with this, particularly the way the glittery accent nail caught the light

Random nail art

Morning everyone, I've been having a bit of a tidy up in my pictures folder and found some random nail art that I've never posted due to only having one (not always great) picture of it so I thought why not have them all in one post? I probably won't remember what polishes were used … Continue reading Random nail art

Nude Christmas! OPI "Sprung" and Barry M "Vanilla"

Nude Christmas

Ooo-er matron! Sounds a bit racy doesn't it?! Ok so it's not quite December but I came across this one that I hadn't posted last year and I loved the nails so will probably redo them this year. Only one picture I'm afraid. The bronze polish is "Sprung" from OPI and the nude is "Vanilla" … Continue reading Nude Christmas

Lemon and Blueberry nails

Lemon and Blueberry nails

Just a nice quick one this morning. I did these nails ages ago and they were inspired by a lemon and blueberry drizzle cake I made. Sometimes simple is best and if it also reminds you of cake what's not to love?! Polishes used were "Stop the Clock" from Barry M's Speedy Dry collection and … Continue reading Lemon and Blueberry nails

I love this picture, it really shows the subtle sparkle in "Pearl"

Dry swipe nails inspired by Wonder Forest

I occasionally spot a good article over on Bloglovin' by Wonder Forest; it's not a blog I have to read everything from but she does have some lovely stuff on there from time to time and is very arty-crafty. So when I saw these nails I just had to give them a go. Thank you … Continue reading Dry swipe nails inspired by Wonder Forest

Palm Tree nails

Summertime palm tree nails

I hate looking back at old nail art, it always looks so terrible! I did this one last summer and never got round to posting it so figured we could go for a bit of a holiday vibe today. It was very simple to do so I'm sure you guys can recreate it far better … Continue reading Summertime palm tree nails

3 days of wear. Chipping starting on the polished nails. Spray on polish on the ring finger looking good as this had been on for 7 days now.

Barry M – Coconut Infusion and Super Mani

It seems 2016 is the year of the coconut. Everywhere you look coconut oil is being touted as the newest thing to help with every beauty regime you can imagine; teeth whitening, skin cleaning and now even nail health. I've spotted at least 4 brands on my Instagram feed who have announced some form of … Continue reading Barry M – Coconut Infusion and Super Mani

Polishes used: Barry M "Pole Position" and "Need for Speed" and A England "Excalibur Renaissance"

Silver, purple and green flowers

Hello everyone! I'm still catching up on some of my older manicures and this is one that I absolutely love and I feel is a really spring-like look. It also uses my three favourite colours, purple, silver and green so I'm bound to revisit this in some form. What do you guys think? I love … Continue reading Silver, purple and green flowers

First attempt at stamping

First attempt at stamping

Just a quick stop post today, the weekend has completely gotten away from me. The above was my first ever attempt at stamping (about a year ago!). I think the green is "Saint George" from A England and I want to say the base was one of the Speedy Dry range from Barry M.
