(Repost) One year on

(This is an old post I’ve moved over from a blog I used to have. I wanted to get rid of the blog but save some of the posts. The original was posted on 23/03/2010.)

Well it’s now a year since I had my operation on my elbow. Does it seem to have improved things? I think it has.

My last blog about it was mentioning that I had an almost permanent ache, rather than the occasional crippling ache that I used to get. Luckily since that post it has stopped being like that. Oddly enough over Christmas and February, the two times that are usually the worst, my elbow hasn’t bothered me at all. Even more strange considering the ‘deep freeze’ England suffered this winter which should by all rights have aggravated my arthritis beyond belief. Just to make matters even stranger it decided to ache once the weather got a little better last week.

Still, overall it does so far seem to have been an improvement by a huge amount. So fingers crossed I won’t have to go in for that second operation, at least any time soon.
