Metallic dot hearts, quick and easy to do and perfect for Valentine’s!
I did the green version of these absolutely ages ago and loved it but never got round to posting it. So here we are, just in time for Valentine’s day and hopefully to give you some inspiration. I’ve also done a pink version further down the post that I was actually wearing just a few days ago.

Polishes used: Essie “Chillato” and Barry M “Arabian”
Simply do a base coat of your preferred colour, in this case I used Essie “Chillato” which I think is just gorgeous. It’s pale yet vibrant and just screams of spring and summer.

Then use a dotting tool to do wavy lines of dots across your nail in the other colour. In this case I used Barry M “Arabian” from the Aquarium collection, a gorgeous duochrome green that shifts to blue.

On your accent finger curve the dots up and around into a heart shape and you’re done!

Looking good! It can be hard to get the heart looking like a heart though.

My pink version. Still looking good but I messed up on the heart a bit. This was done with “Kiss Me Quick” from Barry M’s Speedy Dry collection and “Copa Cobana” from Barry M’s Matte collection.
Hopefully this has inspired you all to a simple yet elegant design, I’d love to see your versions so please feel free to leave links in the comments below.
