Meet Mr Sparkles the Unicorn!
I was in an odd mood when I had these on my nails and named him then kept pestering my boyfriend, telling him to speak to Mr Sparkles and all sorts of random stuff. What can I say? 🙂 I blame how incredibly pretty Captive Goddess is. All polishes used are A England and available on my shop; the black is “Camelot” and the holographic blue/silver is “Captive Goddess” from the Rossetti’s Goddess collection.
For this manicure I started with a base coat of Captive Goddess on all nails then used striping tape to block off the stripes on my little finger and thumb. To finish it I used a Bundle Monster stamping plate for the unicorn head. Rica’s “Glossy Glam” topcoat was then used on all nails except my thumb which I used Barry M’s “Matte topcoat” on.

The colour shift on Captive Goddess is quite surprising, here you can see the true icy blue that it takes on sometimes.

The thumb with matte topcoat – I actually really love the Rossetti’s Goddess collection when mattified, possibly more than the normal finish. I can’t quite make my mind up.
Which do you prefer, glossy or matte Captive Goddess? Tell me what you think.
