Fresh and bright summer splodges, easy to do and look fab!

Thanks to my friend and colleague Michelle for putting me onto this one; despite having used make up sponges to do gradients tons of times it never occurred to me to do splodges of colour instead of stripes! I painted my nails white first to provide a solid background then just splodged some colour on a sponge and went to town with bright summery colours. It’s really quick to do (15 mins and the lot were done) though I definitely recommend using some kind of peel off base around your nails otherwise clean up will be a nightmare. I couldn’t resist adding in these little flower studs as well.

Polishes used, I didn't have a decent orange to fit in here but never mind

The bottle these studs came in is possibly the cutest thing ever. Got an assorted pack from “The Works” (UK) of craft items but they work perfectly on nails

Love how this hand turned out, I managed to get a bit more of the green onto some of these nails

The pink was a bit overpowering on this hand but it worked. Also love how the flowers are catching the light in this shot

Let me know what you think, it was such an easy and quick design to do, I’ll definitely be doing this one again.
